I have a pretty new Yandere blog, how do you get people to interact with and request and enjoy your oc’s?

And can I request more from the Yandere Ai? Like how their first days went?

hi🖤 first off, congrats on your new blog! yanderes are amazing to write for! and second, honestly, just have fun with it! that probably sounds so superficial and vague, but tbh it's true! i put tags in my fic posts that my saying that my requests are open. that's usually about it when it comes to advertising my oc's lol.

also, i like to give my oc's very distinct and specific writings towards their characters. for example since you're starting a yandere blog, think about what kind of yandere you like or others may like in terms of anime, media, writings, asmr, etc.. like, what kind of yandere are they? are they soft, cute, and lovesick about the reader or full-blown obsessed, crazy, and driven by the reader's cries. they can also be somewhere in-between. is the reader willing or not? what are the traits/personalities of your oc's? when you think yandere, who do you imagine? femboy built? bara-body built? it's up to you! they are your oc's. (i like writing willing readers bc it's much more fun to write about, but that's just me)

this is just me, but i also like to incorporate how others would feel and talk in my scenarios. i dislike dere/anime scenarios that have stereotypical responses and cliches or make the reader seem like they can't do anything. i hate that trope in manga and anime, so it transfers into my writing.

in my mind, having the mc say "ok fuck it we ball" or "fuck yeah, awooga" is much more entertaining than the same stockholm syndrome "omg sexy yandere pls don't take me from me from my tyrannical responsibilities and giving me food and a place to live rent free aaahhhh" cliches. again, that's just my opinion. if you want to write something like that, it's completely up to you. i like my fics to be relatable and fun to read. it all genuinely depends on the direction you want to take for your blog and your fics.

once you start writing and starting molding your oc's and going the flow with your writing, people will read. soon enough, people will put in requests and more will enjoy your writing.

and if i can give you any advice: just have fun and don't try too hard. even if no one requests as long as you enjoy it and do your best, you'll be fine. it's your blog! i used to have the same feeling when i wrote my first arata ryuu fic. then he became a follower fav, and now yami ai is tied at being the first follower fav with him! which just fuels me to write even more dere husbandos i have lined up!

and lastly, ofc! it'll probably be a reaction fic since it seems like a simple prompt.

Instead of talking about the powers that be, it's so Personal Choice up in here. It's, "well you shouldn't have done it then. I totally wouldn't because I know better." you don't wanna talk about the military industrial complex as a whole, and you don't want to talk about recruiters, you just want to pin the blame on Specific Individual People one-by-one, as if they're responsible for the system that they're being ground up in. someone was in the military? bad person, no matter what. it's easier to believe that, I guess, than to acknowledge that Normal People (with high school educations) are manipulated and incentivized into joining a system that is Bad. at like age 18. but yeah no that 18 year old should have just been smarter lol haha anyway here are some screenshots for no particular reason

how do you clone a fey? that's trick question; and fey love those!

@the-navistar-carol (<333) brought up a good point while I was talking about my changeling danny au with her -- Dani! How would she exist in this au? Danny's a changeling - a fae. How would Dani, a clone of him, be created? How do you make a fey? Not through any means that Vlad is doing; you can't make a fey through unnatural means, considering the Fair Folk are nature. And Vlad's not a fey himself -- he's a halfa, even if he could make a fey, it's not in his best interest too. He's a powerful ghost, but even the weakest fae can overpower the strongest ghost. He won't want a clone of Daniel to be more powerful than him.

(In a three tier hierarchy it goes Ancients -> Fae/Mythos -> Ghosts. They all live in the Infinite Realms, but on different Planes. The fae live above the Ghost Zone in the Fey Wild, while the Mythos live beside the Wilds or down in the ghost zone depending on where they are. Places like the Frozone, the Athens Acropolis, and other such large islands climb throughout all three Planes.)

(While Ghosts can travel into the Fey Wild, its generally advised against as the ectoplasm tends to manifest differently there due to close contact magic. It can make it rather disorientating for a ghost, and as human spirits, the Fae living there would jump them faster than they could blink. So unless you're willing to play mind games with 'steal thy name eat thy face' fae, most ghosts keep out of the way of the Wilds. Fey can travel down into the Ghost Zone, they just don't bother.)

That's of course, not taking into account if Vlad even knows Danny's a fae himself. Vlad doesn't ring me as someone who really cares much about ghost culture or the going ons of the GZ. He might be aware that fae exist, but the moment he realizes he can't use them for personal gain he just doesn't bother with them. The risk is greater than the reward, and he'd rather not get eaten. But lets assume he's aware by now that Danny is fey, and has to take that into account while cloning him.

So, how does Dani exist? Good question! Honestly; i'm not sure. She might not exist at all, or if she does, she's more halfa than fey. Vlad would need a lot of human dna and ectoplasm to balance out all that fae magic. He manages to steal DNA from Jack and Maddie to do it, and since Jack's fey ancestry is very dormant its much easier to use alongside Danny's DNA.

In turn, it results in a little girl whose more human-ghost hybrid than clone. With that little extra boost in fey magic making her not a fey, but still relatively powerful. Dani is less of a clone and more of a lab-grown little sister. It's a rather tedious, complex process that has Vlad tearing his hair out trying to figure out. But he does eventually figure it out.

After asking Pomme if she met dark Cucurucho and she talks about the Watcher: "Je crois pas qu'on parle de la même chose. Knows that Maximus is dead, when all the other players seem to have decided to play the "don't know if he's alive or dead" card (bonus: Antoine and Pomme talking about telling Aypierre, and Pomme thinking she won't be able to find the right words "I don't think there are right words..." ok im sad now thanks). Since we're at it, when reading Pomme diary where she worries about Baghera and Antoine being dead, saying they can't be dead, he doesn't share that worry in the slightest, as if he knows Baghera's not dead (this one's dubious and I am very willing to put it as cc!Antoine not thinking rp)

He and Pomme are talking about what she remembers of the Watcher and honestly the whole conversation deserves to be clipped and transcribed. To go with him name dropping the Watcher, he is now only calling it the creature with one eye because that's how Pomme calls it

Pomme explains that the Watcher was observing her and Richas and there was a threatening aura to it, so they immediately fled. Antoine in a very serious voice "You were right to, you were right to, you were right to. Because I think it's this person who was at the origin of your disappearance."

Not every story is meant to be a direct reflection of the author's own experiences, which seems easy for people to grasp when the author is a cishet white guy, but apparently not so much when they're almost anyone else.
